§ 1. Annexation.

  • Notwithstanding the provisions of the Charter of the Consolidated City of Jacksonville and Duval County or the Charter of the Town of Baldwin, known as Urban Services District 5, the following described areas are added to Urban Services District 5, known as the Town of Baldwin:

    PARCEL "1"

    All of that part of the Northeast ¼ of the Northeast ¼ of Section 23 and the Northwest ¼ of the Northwest ¼, Section 24, Township 2 South, Range 23 East, Duval County, Florida, lying Easterly of State Road No. 200, and being more particularly described as follows:

    For a Point of Beginning commence at the intersection of the Easterly right-of-way line of State Road No. 200 (a 200 foot right-of-way) with the North line of said Section 24 and run North 87 degrees 44′40″ East, along said North line, a distance of 1,276.62 feet to the Northeast corner of said Northwest ¼ of the Northwest ¼ of Section 24: run thence South 0 degrees 07′ 35″ East, alone the East line of said Northwest ¼ of the Northwest ¼, a distance of 1,319.99 feet to the Southeast corner thereof, said point also being the Northeast corner of the Corporate City Limits of the Town of Baldwin: run thence South 87 degrees 44′ 59″ West, along the North line of said Corporate City Limits and along the South line of said Northwest ¼ of the Northwest ¼ of Section 24, a distance of 1,317.71 feet to the Southwest corner thereof; run thence North 89 degrees 49′02″ West, continuing along the North line of the Corporate City Limits of the Town of Baldwin and along the South line of said Northeast ¼ of the Northeast ¼ of Section 23, a distance of 648.65 feet to a point on the Easterly right-of-way line of State Road No. 200; run thence in a Northeasterly direction along the arc of a curve in said right-of-way line, said curve being concave to the Southeast and having a radius of 15,526.10 feet, a chord distance of 1,487.46 feet to the Point of Beginning, the bearing of the aforementioned chord being North 27 degrees 29′55″ East.

    The lands thus described contain 49.52 acres, more or less.

    PARCEL "2"

    That Portion of the East ¾ of the Northeast ¼ of the Northeast ¼ of Section 23, Township 2 South, Range 23 East, Duval County, Florida, lying East of the S.A.L. Railroad right-of-way and Westerly of the Westerly right-of-way line of State Road No. 200, being more particularly described as follows:

    For a Point of Beginning commence at the intersection of the Westerly right-of-way line of State Road No. 200 (a 200 foot right-of-way) with the North line of said Section 23 and run North 89 degrees 49′ 02″ West, alone said North line, a distance of 384.90 feet to a point on the Easterly right-of-way line of the S.A.L. Railroad (a 200 foot right-of-way) run thence South 18 degrees 30′ 28″ West, along said Easterly right-of-way line, a distance of 1,293.67 feet to a point on the West line of the East ¾ of the Northeast ¼ of the Northeast ¼ of Section 23; run thence South 0 degrees 17′ 26″ East, along said East line of the East ¾ of the Northeast ¼ of the Northeast ¼, a distance of 91.44 feet to a point on the South line of said Northeast ¼ of the Northeast ¼; run thence South 89 degrees 49′ 02″ East, along said South line, and along the North line of the Corporate City Limits of the Town of Baldwin, a distance of 119.73 feet to a point on the Westerly right-of-way line of State Road No. 200; run thence in a Northeasterly direction along the arc of a curve in said Westerly right-of-way line, said curve being concave to the Southeast and having a radius of 15,726.10 feet, a chord distance of 1,480.56 feet to the Point of Beginning, the bearing of the aforementioned chord being North 27 degrees 08′ 25″ East.

    The lands thus described contain 7.69 acres more or less.

    PARCEL A: The North 150 feet of the South 360 feet of Lot 1 and Lot 2, Block E, Duval Syndicate Farm Lands, Section 26, Township 2 South, Range 23 East, as recorded in Plat Book 7, pages 49 and 50 of the Current Public Records of Duval County, Florida.

    PARCEL B: Being part of Lot 1 and Lot 2, Block E, Duval Syndicate Farm Lands in Section 26, Township 2 South, Range 23 East, as recorded in Plat Book 7, pages 49 and 50, Current Public Records of Duval County, Florida, more particularly described as follows:

    Commence at the Northeast Corner of said Lot 1; run thence West along the North line of said Lot 1, 275 feet to the Point of Beginning, continue West along said Lot line 714 feet to the Northwest Corner of said Lot 2; thence South along the West line of said Lot 2, 270.7 feet to a point; thence East and parallel with North line of said lots, 989.0 feet, more or less, to a point in the Westerly right-of-way line of Yellow Water Road; thence North along Westerly right-of-way line of Yellow Water Road 85 feet, more or less, to a point; thence West and parallel to North line of said lots, 275 feet to a point; thence North and parallel to Westerly right-of-way line of Yellow Water Road, 185.7 feet, more or less, to the Point of Beginning.

    PARCEL C: Part of Lot 1 Block E, Duval Syndicate Farm Lands, Plat Book 7, pages 49 and 50, Current Public Records of Duval County, Florida, in part described as follows:

    For a Point of Beginning, beginning at the Northeast corner of Lot 1, Block E, Duval Syndicate Farm Lands in Section 26, Township 2 South, Range 23 East as recorded in Plat Book 7, pages 49 and 50 of the Current Records of Duval County, Florida; run thence Westerly from said corner along the North line of said Lot a distance of 275.00 feet to a point; thence Southerly and parallel to the Westerly right-of-way of Yellow Water Road a distance of 185.75 feet to a point; thence Easterly and parallel to the North line of said Lot a distance of 275.00 feet to a point; and a Westerly right-of-way of Yellow Water Road; thence Northerly along the Westerly right-of-way of Yellow Water Road a distance of 185.75 feet more or less to a Point of Beginning.
