§ 111.322. 9-1-1 Capital Equipment Replacement Fund.

  • Fund established. There is hereby created a 9-1-1 Capital Equipment Replacement Fund for the purpose of expansion or replacement of 9-1-1 Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) equipment or service features of the 9-1-1 Emergency Telephone System as provided in F.S. § 365.171. The 9-1-1 Emergency Telephone System shall be considered to mean the specific equipment located within each 9-1-1 Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) as well as the service features of the network database as a whole. 9-1-1 PSAP equipment shall be located in the Atlantic Beach Police Department, Neptune Beach Police Department, Jacksonville Beach Police Department, the Jacksonville Fire/Rescue Communications Center and the Sheriff's Communications Center. Funds appropriated for the purpose set forth herein shall not lapse at the end of any fiscal year.
