§ 220.305. Posting and exhibition of permit.

Every for-hire driver shall post and maintain at all times his for-hire driver's permit or a copy thereof in the vehicle for hire being driven by him, in a place and manner so as to be clearly visible to a passenger and shall exhibit the permit to a law enforcement officer or the Department when requested to do so. Every for-hire driver, upon being requested to do so, shall give to a person who has hired or is about to hire the vehicle for hire his permit number and name and the permit number of the vehicle.
