The City declares it to be the policy of the City to provide, within the limits of
the Constitution of the United States, fair housing for all people within the City.
The availability of adequate housing without discrimination on the basis of race,
color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, handicap,
familial status or marital status is a matter of concern to the people of Jacksonville
and more particularly of concern to the City in providing for the health, welfare,
safety and morals of the people of Jacksonville.
