§ 462.308. Injury to animals by motor vehicles; reporting requirement.

Any operator of a motor vehicle that has injured an animal shall immediately notify the Office of the Sheriff or ACPS and advise as to the location of the injured animal. Failure to notify one of these authorities shall constitute a violation of this Section punishable by a fine of not less than the amount designated in Chapter 462, Part 18.
