The Chief, upon belief that a violation of this Chapter exists, may make an inspection
to determine the conditions of a building, structure or premises in the interest of
safeguarding the health, safety and general welfare of the public.
(b)
If all or part of any building, structure or premises, or equipment or facilities
thereof, shall be found by the Chief to be in such unsafe condition as to be in violation
of Part 3 of this Chapter, he/she may condemn the same pursuant to this Chapter.
