§ 588.105. Period of operation.

Annually, the Division, with the approval of the Mayor, shall announce the date upon which the Job Corps will commence operations and the date upon which the Job Corps will cease operations during the summer months. Applications may be accepted throughout the year or at one time, as specified by the Division with the approval of the Mayor. No person shall be employed under the Job Corps after the date upon which the Job Corps ceases operations for the year, or after an earlier date set by the Division with the approval of the Mayor. Nevertheless, the unexpended balance in the special account in the Treasury shall be available for the purpose of winding up the affairs of the Job Corps for the year, but only for a period not exceeding thirty days after the date upon which the Job Corps ceases operations for that year.
