§ 111.186. Lonnie Miller Regional Park Capital Improvement Trust Fund.

There is created the Lonnie Miller Regional Park Capital Improvement Trust Fund (inclusive
of Lonnie Miller Park, Bob Hayes, and the Legends Community Center), a permanent,
ongoing trust fund of the City, which shall carry forward each fiscal year. The fund
is authorized to accept gifts, fees, and other donations. Monies deposited in the
fund, together with any interest accrued thereon, shall carry over fiscal years to
be used for the purposes described herein, and shall be expended only for the specific
purpose of financing capital improvements to, and exercise equipment for the Lonnie
Miller Regional Park (inclusive of Lonnie Miller Park, Bob Hayes, and the Legends
Community Center). Funds utilized for the purchase of capital improvements, up to
$100,000 per fiscal year, are hereby appropriated without the need for further action
by Council, and the Director of Finance and Administration, or his/her designee, is
authorized and directed to make disbursements from the fund upon written requisition
of the Director of Parks, Recreation and Community Services. No later than June 30
annually, the Director of Parks, Recreation and Community Services shall provide a
report of receipts and disbursements to the Lonnie Miller Regional Park to the Council
Auditor.
