§ 111.215. Senior Services Trust Fund.

  • There is created within the General Trust and Agency Fund a trust fund account to be known as the Senior Services Trust Fund, hereinafter called the Fund. The Chief of the Senior Services Division shall deposit into the fund all donations and contributions of money, including gifts and grants, received for use toward achieving the purposes, functions and goals of the Senior Services Division Programs. All such donations and contributions shall be accounted for separately within the fund by the Chief of Senior Services. All sums placed into the fund are hereby appropriated for establishing, operating, maintaining and improving the Senior Services Division Programs, and such appropriations shall not lapse at the close of any fiscal year, but instead shall carry over to the next fiscal year. The Director of Finance and Administration, or his designee, is authorized and directed to make disbursements from the fund upon written requisition of the Chief of Senior Services, or his designee, subject to the availability of funds in the fund. Nothing in this Section shall prohibit or otherwise limit any appropriations which may be made by the Council to the Senior Services Division Programs for use toward achieving its purposes, functions and goals.
