Chapter 198. MASSAGE THERAPY |
§ 198.102. Massage services.
(a)
It shall be unlawful for any person to engage in or offer to engage in the massage of another for compensation unless the person giving the massage is licensed by the state pursuant to F.S. Tit. XXXII, and the massage is related to the profession for which the person giving the massage is licensed or unless the person giving the massage is an athletic trainer employed by or on behalf of a professional athletic team performing or training within this state.
(b)
It shall be unlawful for any person to hold oneself out to be a massage therapist unless licensed by the state as a massage therapist.
