Each taxicab or shuttle owner shall place a suitable card in large type, easily readable,
in each vehicle for hire explaining and describing the fare, rate or charge for the
use of the vehicle. Fares, rates and charges shall be displayed in the manner and
form required by the rules, according to a uniform system which can be readily understood
by passengers, including the listing of drop, mileage, waiting time and extra passenger
charges. The fares, rates and charges shall also be posted on each side of the vehicle
for hire, as specified in the rules. A for-hire business doing business by reservation
only and which does not offer taxicab service except by prior reservation is not required
to comply with this Section.
