§ 518.125. Restrictions on employees.

No employee connected with the Municipal Code Compliance Division or the Real Estate Division shall be financially interested in the furnishing of labor, material or appliances for the repair, alteration or maintenance of a building which may be required by this Chapter or in the making of plans or specifications therefor, unless he/she is the owner of the building. Notwithstanding the preceding, no employee connected with the Municipal Code Compliance Division shall inspect in their official capacity any building in which he/she has either an ownership interest or has done repair work within the last year.
