§ 518.126. Liability.

An officer or employee of the city or a member of the city's Special Magistrate, any of whom is charged with the enforcement of this Chapter in the discharge of his duties, shall not thereby render himself personally liable and he/she is hereby relieved from all personal liability for damage that may accrue to persons or property as a result of an act required or in the discharge of his duties. A suit brought against an officer, employee or member permitted because of this Chapter shall be defended by the General Counsel until the final termination of the proceedings.
