Chapter 800. AIR TRAFFIC REGULATIONS |
§ 800.101. Minimum flying heights.
Exclusive of taking off and landing and except as otherwise permitted by section 800.102, aircraft shall not be flown:
(a)
Over the congested parts of the city except at a height sufficient to permit a reasonably safe emergency landing, which in no case shall be less than one thousand feet.
(b)
Elsewhere at a height less than five hundred feet, except where indispensable to an industrial flying operation.
(c)
Over any open-air assembly of persons at a height of less than one thousand feet, except with the consent of the Sheriff. Consent shall be granted only for limited operations.
