§ 37.110. Department of Personnel and Professional Standards.

  • (a)

    There is established a Department of Personnel and Professional Standards to manage the recruitment, hiring, training, personnel utilization, and internal investigation functions of the Sheriff's Office.

    (b)

    The Director of the Department of Personnel and Professional Standards shall be the head of the Department of Personnel and Professional Standards. He shall have a college degree or at least five years' experience and commensurate training.

    (c)

    The Department of Personnel and Professional Standards shall be organized into the following divisions, each of which shall be headed by a division chief;

    (1)

    Human Resources Division.

    (2)

    Professional Standards Division.
