§ 106.412. Independent agencies.
The various independent agencies shall prescribe procedures for fiscal management of the public funds in their respective custody and control, adequate to insure accurate reporting or receipts and expenditures and to provide management information for the use of the independent agency, the Council Auditor and the Council. It is the sense of the Council that the procedures specified in this Part 4 for the general government are adequate for the purposes herein expressed, and that independent agency procedures that are similar to the procedures specified in this part and that achieve the same measure of fiscal control will be considered adequate; and the Council directs the Council Auditor to comment on and make recommendations with respect to the fiscal management procedures of those agencies. The remaining Sections in this Subpart B shall not be applicable to the independent agencies, except Sections 106.411, 106.415(c) and 106.416.
