§ 122.810. Stolen, missing or lost tangible personal property.

In the event that tangible personal property is stolen, discovered missing or lost, the Office of the Sheriff shall be notified and a copy of the report transmitted to the Accounting Division. If an item of property that was reported as stolen, missing or lost is subsequently recovered, or if the report was erroneous and the property is discovered, the Accounting Division shall be notified. No accountable officer may request to be relieved of responsibility under Section 122.806(a)(6) unless a report has been made as required in this Section.
